In 2011 the Friedhelm Loh Group companies again showed how generous they are. Staff and owner Friedhelm Loh collected a total of 150,000 Euro which they donated to regional social institutions and charities as well as national organisations and associations.

Staff of the Friedhelm Loh Group and the owner of the Friedhelm Loh company donated over a quarter of a million Euro in support of the people in Eastern Africa. Thus, the Friedhelm Loh Group offered a valuable contribution to the fight against a famine that is caused by civil wars and continuous droughts.

The floods in Pakistan in autumn 2010 moved staff and owner of the Friedhelm Loh Group. They expressed their desire to help with a big fund-raising drive in which they collected a total of 250,000 Euro to support the work of several aid organisations in the crisis zone.

The violent earthquake in Japan and its devastating consequences caused staff and owner of the Friedhelm Loh Group to run a fund-raising drive in support of the victims. Together they raised 160,000 Euro for a variety of aid organisations (such as Aktion Deutschland Hilft, Caritas International, Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe, Humedica, Cologne Salvation Army and World Vision).

Staff and owner Friedhelm Loh raised nearly 10,000 Euro during the Rittal Cup 2011 in aid of the Burbach home for disabled children "Kinderzuhause". The charity soccer tournament is an annual event organised by the Friedhelm Loh Group, and all proceeds go to regional charity projects.
