Rittal Foundation
Friedhelm Loh created the Rittal Foundation to mark the company's 50th anniversary. The owner of the Friedhelm Loh Group committed five million Euro to the foundation.
The income from the foundation’s capital fund will be distributed annually and donated to social and cultural institutions local to the various Rittal sites, including international locations.
Friedemann Hensgen, has chaired the Foundation since April 2015, supported by Markus Betz, chairman of the Rittal works council in Herborn and Dieter Scherz, auditor from Siegen. The foundation's Council also includes Friedhelm Loh himself and his wife Debora; Kerstin Gerbig, Managing Director of GWAB mbH; and Georg Müller, Medical Director and board member in Humedica and founder of the Humedica Forum Hessen.

"I started this foundation knowing that success is never guaranteed", says patron Friedhelm Loh upon establishing the foundation on the Rittal anniversary. "We've been successful for 50 years, and I owe special gratitude to all members of staff. Rittal Foundation helps people in need, and it supports other social and cultural institutions and projects."
