Friedhelm Loh Group

Requirements of the Act on Corporate Due Diligence Obligations in Supply Chains (LkSG)

The Friedhelm Loh Group (hereinafter "FLG") is a global player, innovation leader and a family business with a worldwide presence. A commitment to our responsibility regarding human rights, social standards and sustainability is firmly anchored in our   company principles.

As the holding company of FLG, Friedhelm Loh Stiftung & Co. KG (hereinafter "FLS") is committed to taking into consideration the legal, economic, technological, social and ecological consequences of its business decisions and actions. Its executive board has manifested this commitment in a corresponding policy statement.

The basic principles of our actions are laid down in the FLG Code of Conduct, which is based on the standards issued by the VDMA (mechanical engineering) and ZVEI (electrical engineering industry) associations. We expect all managers and employees of our company to know and adhere to this Code of Conduct. We also expect our suppliers to comply with the principles of this Code of Conduct or to follow equivalent codes of conduct.

In the event of previous or imminent violations of human rights or environmental obligations, we will take appropriate remedial action without delay. The purpose of these actions will be to end such violations or to minimise their extent, and to reliably prevent the occurrence of violations in the future. In determining the specific action to be taken, we will draw on the experience we have gained in the past in dealing with suppliers for whom compliance violations were justifiably suspected or proven.

For this purpose, FLS has established a complaints procedure. The functionality of this complaints procedure is laid down in our  rules of procedure, which are publicly accessible in German and English on the FLS website at

https://friedhelm-loh-group.complaints-portal.com.

Under guaranteed confidentiality, anyone can provide information - also anonymously - about risks related to human rights and the environment or violations of human rights or environmental obligations in the business sector of FLS or at one of its direct or indirect suppliers in the language of their choice. We assure that no one will have to fear detrimental consequences or punishment on account of their complaint.
